Position: We are seeking a talented AI/ML Developer to possibly join us as a third partner. This role is ideal for someone who is not only passionate about AI/ML but also has an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to be an integral part of our startup’s growth and success.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical consulting to the founders during the business planning and financing phases.
- Coordination of development and deployment of AI/ML models for IP law applications.
- Development and deployment of AI/ML models for IP law applications, such as semi-automated patent application drafting.
- Customize and fine-tune AI models to meet specific use case requirements.
- Design and implement intuitive user interfaces.
- Conceptualize the required hardware infrastructure.
Technical Skills:
Ideally, you should have as many of the following skills as possible:
- Machine Learning and Deep Learning: A strong understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and deep learning architectures like transformers is essential for working with LLMs.
- Natural Language Processing (NLP): Proficiency in NLP techniques such as tokenization, text preprocessing, and language modeling is crucial for handling and processing legal text data.
- Open Source Models: Proficiency in selecting, setting up, and integrating Open Source LLMs, including training, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, model evaluation, and contributing to community-driven projects and improvements.
- Data Handling and Preprocessing: Skills in data cleaning, formatting, and preprocessing legal data (e.g., case laws, contracts, regulations) are vital for training high-quality LLM models.
- Model Deployment and Serving: Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker) is required for deploying and serving LLM models at scale.
- Programming: Practical skills in Python and proficiency with frameworks such as TensorFlow or similar.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to be a part of a startup environment.
